Karl Lacey will continue as Kilcoo manager in 2024.

The 2012 Donegal All-Ireland winning centre back took charge of the Magpies this year and led them to their 11th Down SFC title in 12 years last month. But their hopes of replicating their 2022 All-Ireland success were ended prematurely by Rory Beggan’s late winning free for Scotstown in the Ulster Club SFC quarter-final after Derrygonnelly had been dispatched in the preliminary round.

Following Kilcoo’s Ulster exit, Lacey had hinted at stepping down, but the club has now confirmed that will be staying on.
