Shane Dowling is the new Limerick minor hurling manager.
The 2018 All-Ireland SHC winner's appointment was ratified at last night's county board meeting in Adare. Dowling will be assisted by Cork All-Ireland camogie winning coach Liam Cronin, who he worked with at U16 level this year. The other members of the backroom team are selectors Darren Moynihan and Andrew Ryan, strength and conditioning coach Darragh Droog, kitman Hugh Dunne and liason officer Barry O'Regan.
The Na Piarsaigh clubman and RTÉ pundit replaces Evan Loftus, who moves up to the U20 position where he will be joined by selectors Stephen Walsh, Tony Power and Alan Kelly.
