Ulster Schools GAA has launched its 2022/23 competitions.

In the flagship MacRory Cup, holders St Mary's Grammar School, Magherafelt have been drawn in the same section as St Patrick’s, Amagh, St Patrick’s, Academy, Dungannon, and last season's runners-up Holy Trinity, Cookstown. The competition gets underway on Monday, November 7.

Ulster Schools GAA chairman Jimmy Smyth said: “There will be thousands of students across Ulster eagerly awaiting the opportunity to pull on their school jersey, some for the first time. Our competitions continue to grow from strength to strength, and we are indebted to the work of our school teachers and principals, and our sponsors Danske Bank, all of whom who make this possible.”

Section B

St Ronan’s, Lurgan, Patrician, Carrickmacross, St Macartan’s, Monaghan, Abbey CBS, Newry

St Mary’s, Magherafelt, St Patrick’s, Amagh, St Patrick’s Academy, Dungannon, Holy Trinity, Cookstown.

Section D

St Colman’s, Newry, Our Lady SS, Castleblayney, St Patrick’s, Maghera.
