Clough-Ballacolla and Camross will face off in the Laois SHC final for the first time since 2017 following their respective semi-final wins over Castletown and Rathdowney-Errill at MW Hire O'Moore Park yesterday.

In the first semi-final, Tadhg Doran's late save from a close-in free proved crucial as Camross held on for a 1-23 to 2-18 victory over Rathdowney-Errill to reach their first decider in four years. Zane Keenan was the scoring star for the black and ambers who recovered from a six-point deficit after Brandon McGinley and Eric Killeen had netted for Rathdowney-Errill inside the first 20 minutes.

Daniel Delaney got a goal back for Carmoss as the sides went into the break on level terms, 1-10 to 2-7. After the restart, Keenan brought his tally to 0-14 to send Camross into the final on October 2.

In the other semi-final, Stephen 'Picky' Maher led Clough-Ballacolla to a comfortable 2-21 to 1-14 win over Castletown and are now just 60 minutes away from completing a three-in-a-row.
