The 2022 Ulster U20 football championship commences tonight when holders Down welcome Fermanagh to Pairc Esler (throw-in 8pm).
The Mourne County captured its ninth Under 21/20 Ulster football crown last year after defeating Monaghan in the final by 3-15 to 1-14 after extra time at the Athletic Grounds.
Tonight’s clash in Newry will see the hosts aiming for a winning start to their provincial title defence and both team lists can be seen below via Ulster GAA.
Next Friday, April 1st, sees the other four quarter-finals down for decision, with Monaghan hosting neighbours Cavan, Derry taking on Antrim, Donegal welcoming Armagh and Tyrone facing the winners of tonight’s first round encounter Pairc Esler. All games throw-in at 8pm.
