Stephen Cluxton has lifted the Delaney Cup so many times over the last decade that some wise cracks now call it the Cluxton Cup!
The evergreen Dublin captain and goalkeeper is by far the most decorated player in the history of Leinster football and if he was a county, he would have the third most Leinster championships with 16 to his name. Only Meath (21) and Dublin obviously (59) are ahead of him on the roll of honour.
Cluxton is an integral part of what is arguably the greatest Gaelic football of all-time. Last night, the Dubs won a 10th Leinster SFC title in-a-row and a 15th in 16 years. Their 21-point winning margin over Meath is the biggest they have managed in a Leinster final since 2011, but falls short of the 23-point drubbing they handed Wexford in 2008 when Paul Caffrey was at the helm.
Based on last night's awesome performance, it will take something special to stop Dublin from securing a six-in-a-row of All-Ireland titles on December 19.Tweet
