Westmeath SFC: Caulry and Shamrocks ensure safety

Caulry have retained their Westmeath SFC status by beating Castledaly 2-8 to 0-13 after extra-time in Athlone yesterday evening.
The 2019 intermediate champions had trailed Castledaly 1-1 to 0-7 at half-time and scored the equalising point to draw level a full-time (2-5 to 0-11).
Castledaly will now face Shandonagh in the relegation decider after the latter were defeated 1-15 to 1-9 by Mullingar Shamrocks in the other play-off in Kinnegad.
