Eglish St Patrick's GAC are allowed to resume activites after a batch of Covid-19 tests carried out on players and management returned negative results.
The Tyrone club announced a suspension of all activities on Tuesday as one of their senior players tested positive for Covid-19.
Neighbours Aghaloo also took precautionary measures by closing temporarily having played Eglish in the opening round of the ACFL Division 1 campaign on Sunday.
But this is welcome news for Eglish St Patrick's GAC who have been given permission to return to action by the Tyrone county board.
"Following a positive test for Covid-19 by a member of our senior football team on Tuesday 21st July, all members of our senior and reserve teams, management, club officials and those involved in the game versus Aghaloo on Sunday 19th July have been tested for Covid-19. All tests have come back negative. This is a matter of huge relief for the club and local community," Eglish St Patrick's GAC said in a statement.
"The Tyrone county board has been informed of this and has given permission for the club to resume activities. The club will again be adhering strictly to GAA and Public Health guidelines as we return again to sport."
