Legendary Offaly and Rhode footballer Paddy McCormack will be inducted into the Irish Greyhound Hall Of Fame at the Killashee Hotel, Naas today.
Better known as the 'Iron Man from Rhode', Paddy was full back when Offaly won back-to-back All-Ireland SFC titles in 1971 and '72. He also won five Leinster SFC medals and an All Star during an illustrious playing career.
In more recent times, Paddy has become a successful greyhound trainer and breeder, and his achievements on the track will now be recognised at the National Greyhound Racing Awards.
