Former Galway hurler Justin Campbell has been reunited with the jersey he wore in the 1991 All-Ireland U21HC final.

Campbell swapped his number 11 jersey with Offaly’s John Troy after the final which Galway won. Nowadays, the Kiltormer man is better known as a sports counsellor and spoke to teenagers at the recent launch of South and West Offaly Drug and Alcohol Network about the importance of choice, informed decisions and the consequences of actions.

As a token of appreciation, Troy – who starred in the Faithful County’s All-Ireland SHC successes of 1994 and ’98 – presented Campbell with the jersey, 28 years after he last wore it.
