Donegal champions Gaoth Dobhair have been hit with a double injury blow ahead of Sunday’s county SFC final replay against Naomh Conaill.

Key defender Kieran Gillespie, who was forced off at half-time during the 0-8 apiece draw in Ballybofey, is set to miss out on the rest of the season following his latest injury set-back, according to a report from donegalsporthub.com.

Christopher McFadden, who replaced Gillespie, is also set for a long spell on the sidelines after picking up a knee injury against the Glenties men.

The winners of Sunday’s replay in the Tir Chonaill County are set to take on Cavan champions Castlerahan in the Ulster club SFC quarter-finals on November 3rd at Kingspan Breffni (throw-in 2.30pm).
