August 30, 2019

Corofin are the holders of the Kilmacud Crokes All-Ireland Senior Football Sevens title.

Kilmacud Crokes is gearing up to host another All-Ireland Senior Football Sevens tournament tomorrow.

For over 40 years, the Londis-sponsored tournament has been staged in Glenalbyn on the eve of the All-Ireland final. 2018 champions Corofin will defend their title against some of the top clubs in the country.

Speaking at last Monday's launch, which was attended by Dublin legend Charlie Redmond, Kerry great Tomas O Se and current Tyrone star Richie Donnelly, Crokes football chairman Pat Horgan said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Londis again this year for the Londis 7s All-Ireland Senior Football tournament.

"Kilmacud Crokes are very proud of the long and successful history associated with this tournament. The interest and popularity of the competition has grown annually and it’s great to have an iconic brand such as Londis involved as sponsor again this year. I am really looking forward to seeing some fantastic football skill during the tournament.”
