Roscommon footballer Cathal Cregg has taken up a new role with Connacht GAA.

The Western Gaels clubman replaces John Tobin as the province's Games Development Manager having worked as Connacht GAA Head Strength and Conditioning Officer since 2013.

Cregg, who missed out on the Rossies' Connacht championship success last year due to his studies before returning for the 2018 season, has a Sports Science degree and Research Masters in Exercise Physiology from DCU, with whom he won two Sigerson Cups.
