Antrim's Sean Kelly
Antrim manager Liam Bradley has been dealt a blow ahead of the new season with the news that experienced half back Sean Kelly has retired from inter-county duty.
The 28-year-old half back, who was one of the stars of St. Gall's All-Ireland club championship success earlier this year, has cited a lack of hunger and unhappiness with his performances for the county as his reasons for quitting.
Kelly, who made his championship debut for Antrim against Derry nine years ago, previously opted out of the squad following the Saffrons' exit from the 2008 Ulster SFC at the hands of Cavan and missed out on their subsequent Tommy Murphy Cup success.
He also missed Antrim's historic run to last year's Ulster final before returning to the fold this year. He will continue to line out for St. Gall's.
