Erin go Braghs minor ladies football team played local Dublin 15 rivals Castleknock in the Division 4 Championship Shield final under lights in Somerton on Thursday night.

Both teams produced a great game of football with Erin Go Bragh coming out winners on a scoreline of 5-8 to 3-4. It's the first time Erin Go Bragh have fielded a ladies minor football team. They also have a minor camogie team who play in the minor shield final against St. Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh in a few weeks time.

The Erin Go Bragh ladies section are already planning for next season. The minor ladies team will be making the big jump up to adult football squad next season and they are now looking for adult players to integrate them into the squad as soon as possible.
