How much depth is applied to these rankings? I'd probably agree with the top 12 but after that you have to wonder. Down ranked 24th??? I realise they're not the force they once were but come on!!! Also, I'd rate Kerry above Derry & London (Kerry beat Westmeath, Derry lost to the same opposition), Laois would probably be going better than Westmeath too. Also Louth & Fingal should be stronger than Donegal. Warwickshire are ranked last behind Longford & Leitrim even though they hammered both those counties last year & went toe-to-toe with Fermanagh, who were promoted to 3A last year & are currently holding their own in that division.

pointless article 'hurling rankings' after only 2/3 games best thing to do is look at the tables after the league is finished
