Donard/Glen club notes
July 21, 2008
Our ladies were the only ones in action last week.
On Wednesday our ladies football team played a friendly against Ballymore in BMC. Due to injuries, holidays and work etc. we were short a few regulars here as were the opposition but a brilliant game took place with our ladies coming out on top by a few points.
Our ladies will play Greystones on Sunday next in the intermediate championship in Blessington at 2.00. Best of luck to Coney and the girls, and they would appreciate your support.
On Sunday in Dunlavin our senior camogie team who had the same problems as the footballers had an easy win over Ballinacor in the senior championship and so qualified for the county final against Kiltegan to be played in Mid August.
Our junior footballers team will play Bray on Thursday at a venue to be decoded in the first round of the championship. We wish them luck.
