The intermediates were defeated by Baltinglass in the league last weekend in Baltinglass. They now face another big challenge this Sunday evening when up against near neighbours Knockananna in Baltinglass in the championship. Tara Kenny in her recent HB Icecream Party in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland raised a cool Ä770 and would like to thank all those who contributed and supported the event. There was no lotto jackpot winner last weekend with numbers 2,5,14 and 25 being drawn out. Match three winners were Kathleen Byrne, Fran Harper, Graham O'Neill, Noel Murphy, Sinead Doyle, Jonathan Gamell and Aine Murphy, all collecting Ä25 each. Finally well done to the Wicklow Ladies on capturing the Junior Leinster title recently, in particular to our representives Aine and Caitriona. Like our intermediates lads, they, along with Aisling, are also in championship action this Sunday in Newtown when they take on Bray Emmetts. We also have representatives on the Tinahely ladies team (Caoimhe & Deirdre) who take on St. Pats, so best of luck to all in action.
