A repeat of last year's Leinster quarter-final which Laois won by five points.
They went on to reach the Leinster final, losing to Dublin before losing a third round qualifier to Derry. Longford lost to Westmeath in this year's Leinster first round and will be hoping for better luck than last year when having beaten Westmeath in Leinster, they were well beaten by the their neighbours in a qualifier re-match.
