Ladies take on Fermanagh this Sunday

July 11, 2008
Wexford Ladies will take on Fermanagh this Sunday at Monamolin in the second round of their TG4 Intermediate Championship campaign. The Model County had an impressive win in their most recent outing where they came through on a score-line of 3-8 to 1-9, with full-forward Caroline Murphy top-scoring on the day with 2-2. However, it will be a test for Murphy along with team-mates Bridget Curran and Kate Kelly who play camogie senior championship match for their county against Kilkenny at the same venue earlier in afternoon. Fermanagh defeated a well-fancied Cavan side on Tuesday evening in Brewster to lift their first Ulster IFC crown and will no doubt be on a high on their trip to Monamolin. The game's throw-in time is scheduled for 3.00pm, with the Senior Camogie Championship meeting with Kilkenny at 1.30pm earlier that afternoon.
