Hill 16 to be seated for Leinster ties

The seated Hill 16
Hill 16 will have a strange look to it for the Leinster double header involving Kildare, Wicklow, Meath and Carlow as patrons will have to use seats which are installed for an international soccer game.
The two first round provincial games take place on Sunday 18 May, six days before the soccer international involving Ireland and Serbia in Croke Park.
Croke Park will be an all seater GAA venue for the first time in its history, as fans of the four counties get the opportunity to watch proceedings from a seated position on the Hill.
GAA headquarters will then be closed for a number of weeks to GAA games as a series of concerts take place involving Celine Dion and then Westlife. It will reopen for Dublin's Leinster quarter-final with Louth on June 8, by which time the temporary seats will be removed from Hill 16.
