Bealin focused on own game

May 08, 2008
Carlow manager Paul Bealin has stressed that his side will be focusing on their own game and not that of Leinster championship depleted opponents Meath. The Royals are minus the services of a plethora of players due to injury and suspension, but Bealin is not getting carried away and acknowledges that the Barrowsiders have a mammoth task ahead of them, regardless of what side Meath put out. "Maybe in the players' minds it could be a factor. They feel that they might have a better chance with those players not involved," said Bealin. "But all we have to do is look at Meath's success at junior level to see that they have always been good at producing good players on their B panel as are Dublin. But we are looking at ourselves only and not Meath."
