Devenney back in training

Donegal's Brendan Devenney
Donegal have received a boost with the news that ace attacker Brendan Devenney returned to county training last Tuesday night and could now feature in their Ulster SFC clash with Derry. Devenney had been allowed by Donegal boss Brian McIver to play for his club St. Eunan's to try and help him regain his sharpness after injury prevented the attacker from playing in Donegal's NFL campaign. Along with Devenney, Rory Kavanagh looks set to make Donegal's provincial opener against Derry despite suffering a groin injury recently. The only casualty for McIver looks to be half-back Barry Dunnion as the defender's groin problem is likely to rule him out of his side's clash with the Oak Leafers.
