Na Deise to honour 1966 football team

Waterford GAA has organised a special commemoration of its history-making 1966 football team.

On Sunday, March 6th, at 6:30pm - the 50th anniversary of the first Waterford football team to play in Croke Park (when Dublin were the opposition) - Waterford GAA in conjunction with Club Deise will honour the team at a function in Crotty's Bar, Leamybrien

There is an open invitation to all interested parties to attend the presentation to the players at 8pm. All 21 members of the panel will be attending as well as GAA president Aogán Ó Fearghaíl and Kerry legend Mick O'Dwyer.
