Laois captain Joe Fitzpatrick believes that they must be wary of Antrim's challenge in the Leinster SHC on Sunday.
The Saffrons may have had a poor league campaign that resulted in them being relegated to Division 2A for next year and Laois are favourites to come away from Ballycastle with a win at the weekend.
However, Fitzpatrick is adamant that Antrim are a much better side that they have shown this year so far and he stressed to the Leinster Express that they could face a backlash.
"Yeah of course they will (be motivated) and after the other two league games as well. There is always fierce rivalry there between ourselves and Antrim. They didn't have a bad year either, they were unlucky against Limerick and they were unlucky against Wexford.
"They have some fine hurlers up there, things didn't go their way in the relegation final, and Kerry are not a bad side either, so we will have to be at our best to beat them."
