Two changes to Wexford U21 side

June 21, 2011

Wexford's Matthew O'Hanlon
The Wexford team to face Laois in tomorrow night's Bord Gais Energy Leinster U21HC semi-final at Wexford Park shows two changes from that which defeated Kilkenny at the same venue a fortnight ago.

Both changes are enforced with senior player Andrew Shore having departed for the US and John Leacy out injured. James Gahan comes in at wing back in place of Shore with Michael O'Regan switching to the centre. Leacy is replaced by Rory Sludds at midfield with senior star Harry Kehoe now on the '40'.

Matthew O'Hanlon manned the full back position against Kilkenny in last Saturday week's Leinster SHC semi-final, while wing forward Liam Og McGovern featured for the Wexford footballers in their Leinster SFC quarter-final win over Westmeath on the same evening.

Wexford (U21H v Laois): M Fanning (captain); W Devereux, M O'Hanlon, E Moore; J Gahan, M O'Regan, S Murphy; E Kent, R Sludds; S Tomkins, H Kehoe, L Og McGovern; P Morris, J Breen, P Doran.
