A chance to see Australia v Ireland from the 1st test of the 2001 International Rules series in the MCG, Melbourne. The Irish team included such stars as Anthony Tohill, Graham Geraghty, Kieran McGeeney, Cormac McAnallen, Dermot Earley, Tadhg Kennelly, Pádraic Joyce, Ciaran Whelan, Michael Donnellan and Dara Ó Sé. Over 50,000 spectators turned up at the MCG to watch this exciting match between the two countries.

Who is the man behind the sign? We have all seen the big yellow "JOHN 3:7" sign at Croke Park and at other GAA matches, but who is the man who dedicates his life to spreading his message at GAA games and other events around Ireland, and why? Frank Hogan who is now known to all and sundry as John, has been dedicated to spreading the message of JOHN 3:7 to all sports fans, particularly GAA fans throughout Ireland for 21 years. Frank has a myriad of stories to tell regarding the people of Ireland and how they react to him. He has been verbally abused, his sign stolen, he has been offered money in exchange for his sign, and he has also been the focus of many tourist photographs in his role as a minor celebrity.
