G.A.A CLUB NOTES

LOTTO
The numbers drawn in last Monday [24TH November] night's Lotto were 03 05 14 17. There was no Jackpot winner and 3 Match 3 winners [Jack & Ivan C/O Doyles ; Esther Larkin C/O Killeigh P.O. ; Brendan O'Rourke C/O Brendan O'Rourke] [?70 Each]. Next weeks jackpot is ?5,800 with the draw taking place in Hamiltons, Geashill on Monday 01st December.
CLUB AGM
There was a large turnout at the AGM of Raheen GAA which took place last Friday 21ST November in the clubhouse Geashill . The following officers were elected : Chairman - John Garry; Vice Chairman - John Hackett; President - Sean Carty; Secretary - Mick Guinan ; Ass Secretary - Eddie Kaye; Treasurer - Pauric Pierce ; Ass Treasurer - Liam Boland ; PRO - Ray Garry ; Membership Officer: Shane Carroll ; County Board Delegates: Ownie Connor & Ray Garry. The following Committee members were also elected : Noel Gorman, Brendan Byrne, P. J. Corcoran, Matthew O'Byrne, Tommy Spollen, Paddy Bracken, Owenie Connor, Stephen Byrne & Niall Carthy .
MEMBERSHIP
Members are asked to renew their membership as soon as possible . Subscriptions are Adults ?30 & Students/ OAP's ?15 . Payments can be given to Shane Carroll, Membership Officer. New members are very welcome.
COLAISTE IOSAGAIN PORTARLINGTON ALL IRELAND COLLEGES B SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS PRESENTATION NIGHT
A presentation night for the successful members of the Colaiste Iosagain, Portarlington, Co Offaly team who captured the Leinster and All-Ireland Colleges B Senior Football Titles earlier this year will be held in the Heritage Hotel, Killenard, Co Laois on Thursday Dec 11th at 7:30pm . Special Guest of Honour will be legendary RTE commentator Michael O'Muircheartaigh. Limited number of tickets priced at ?40 each (including Buffet, Bar Extension and Disco) can be obtained from Na Fianna club secretary Pauric Pierce (Phone 087 6833535). With 2 Na Fianna & Raheen club members - John Crombie & Keith Kirwan - as part of the Colaiste Iosagain team we would encourage as many locals as possible to attend.
