O'Sullivan fall still awaits investigation
October 01, 2008
It is still unknown whether or not any investigation is to get underway over the alleged knocking-over of Kerry vice chairman Patrick O'Sullivan during the half-time interval of last Sunday week's All-Ireland SFC final.
After a tense first-half at Croke Park, where three Kerry players had picked up yellow cards in the closing stages, O'Sullivan was knocked to the floor as both sets of players made their way to the dressing rooms for the break.
It is alleged that either a Tyrone player or a member of the back-room team was responsible for shoving into the Dr Crokes clubman thus causing him to fall to the floor where he was eventually helped to his feet by Mickey Harte.
However, both the GAA and the Kerry County Board have refused to make any comment on the matter for the time being.
