Blessington LGFA would like to thank Jordan, Eamonn & Kevin for their continued support and unbelievable generosity over the last number of months.

Well done to our Senior Ladies who defeated AGB away on a score of 1-13 to 2-4.

What a day of football for our Under 14 girls. We coaches are all wrecked, can only imagine how the girls feel. Let's start with our super White team. What a second half. To lose by 2 pts after the 2nd half performance is painful but we move on, take what we can from the game and work on it. Special thanks to Orlagh M & Erin B for stepping into goals. POTM.hard to pick. Goes to Lucy Flano & Aimee & Eabha, some fab goals scored. Well done girls.

Now on to our super Blue team. Girl’s unreal performance, our toughest match yet, every position was an on field battle. From goals to full forward ye worked together and pushed on. Unbeaten in the league, only Bray left to play and the girls lift that league title. POTM goes to our little red rocket Cria. Well done. Super proud of both teams as always. Thanks Ciara M for the refreshments

Another great game for our u12 white team this morning, the score line doesn't reflect how good the girls played. Star players for Blessington were Chloe Mahon, Lily Keogh, and Erin Long but player of the match goes to Kyra Gregg for her never give up determination to defend and win the ball.

Hurling Notes

Western Gaels edged a great battle in Blessington with Carnew to get their Minor Hurling championship off to the perfect start. Hurling is really starting to thrive out west and the hard graft being put in is really starting to pay dividends. Final score Western Gaels 1-15 V Carnew Emmets 1-10.
