Intermediate Championship

St Oliver Plunkett's 1-22 Southern Gaels 1-7

 

Southern Gaels bowed out of the Intermediate Championship following their defeat in Ballymore last Sunday. See the match report in the Sports pages.

However, the Junior side have qualified for the Junior B quarter-final to be played shortly. They will face Castlepollard in this game.

 

Artie Pyke Tournament.

This Under 13 tournament is organised annually by the club in memory of Artie Pyke, a founder member of the club and one of its great stalwarts.  

This year teams from four counties, Edgeworthstown (Longford), Brosna Gaels (Offaly), Roscommon Gaels (Roscommon) and Southern Gaels (Westmeath) will take part in the prestigious tournament. It will be played on this Friday 17th September in Pairc Chiaráin, Athlone with proceedings getting under way at 6.30.

 

Under 15

Our Under 15 side face Delvin in the Division Two semi-final on this Saturday 18th September in Pairc Chiaráin at 5.30 All support is welcome.

 

Under 17 

The Under 17 Division semi-final versus Delvin was postponed last weekend and will be rescheduled shortly.
