Fixtures

We play Shandonagh away in our second league game in the ACFL Division 4 mini league this Sunday morning, 27th June. Throw in is at 11:30. Support welcomed and best of luck to the lads. Our U15 Division 1 Shield final against Moate from 2020 that was fixed for last Monday got postponed at the last minute and will be fixed for some future date.

Pitch Development

Great progress was made in the last week with the erection of new lamp and ball catcher poles around both our main pitch and new training pitch. We hope to report further progress next week. We will need more help and hands on deck over the next month so if you can assist with an hour here of there please let us know and we will add you to the development WhatsApp group for updates. We ask all patrons of the club to continue to adhere to the signage and to stay clear of fenced off areas in our grounds.

Irish Farm Plastics

The annual collection of farm plastics takes place at our pitch on Wednesday 23rd June so please spread the word among our local farmers.

Congratulations

Congratulations to our club chairman, Liam McDaniel, who was elected as Lord Mayor of the Athlone-Moate Municipal District last week. Congratulations also to club footballer, Enda Kenny who is now ready for action after completing his refereeing course. Enda officiated at his first game last Wednesday evening in Ballinagore.
