Volunteers

We are looking for some volunteers who can help with some jobs around the club - many hands make light work! The intention is to create a group of willing volunteers who can help with various jobs such as clean ups, litter collection, stewarding, match officiating, lotto selling, catering, etc. from time to time. Details of events will be posted to the group and help sought as and when they arise. The work will be shared and there is no obligation on volunteers to commit to all events. Congratulations

A big well done to Emma Fry and Sophie Traenor who have been selected for the Westmeath Minor Ladies team for the 2021 season. We wish the ladies all the best during the year ahead.

 

2020 U14 Champions

Thanks to all who were in attendance at the pitch on a beautiful summer's evening last Saturday for the presentation of the County Girls U14 2020 medals. The girls put in a huge effort in 2020 and the evening was a celebration of the joy they brought to the club and their families last year. The “Godmother” of ladies football in Shandonagh, Ann Hayden presented the medals. Pictured with the girls and their coaches is Shandonagh Club Secretary Deirdre Quinn and Shandonagh Ladies Secretary Una Reville. The Club looks forward to seeing the continued progress of these fantastic bunch of girls for the years ahead.
