The St. Malachys GAA club AGM will take place Friday 22nd January at 7.30pm. Due to Covid-19  restrictions this year's AGM will be held via Microsoft Teams. Members  wishing  to attend please request meeting details/invite link by sending an email to [email protected]. Any motions should also be sent to the club secretary via email no later than Thursday evening, 21st January.

Birthday Celebrations

St. Malachys extend our congratulations to Mick Kirby who celebrated his ninetieth birthday last weekend. On what would have been a huge occasion in the village during normal times Mick’s family organised a drive by on Saturday last and the cavalcade of cars was testament to Mick’s popularity. Mick was a talented hurler and footballer in the 50’s and 60’s before he became club chairman of the hurling club where he was one of the main instigators in purchasing our present playing fields and construction of our facilities during the 1970’s.

Walking Track
The Walking Track which is floodlit until 10pm daily is proving very popular with both walkers and joggers of all ages. We remind all users that in order to be covered by insurance and to pay for the upkeep of the facility that membership must be paid for 2021. Annual membership costs just €20 for an individual and €30 per family, please contact 0863211725 for payment and to receive your membership card.
