Lifelong Meath GAA supporter and Kilmainham GFC stalwart Sam Black.

A lifelong Meath GAA supporter, who was struck down by a stroke in April of last year, has cycled 6.5km for charity.

Well-known Kells publican Sam Black was taking part in a challenge organised by his club Kilmainham GFC in aid of SOSAD.

A stalwart of Kilmainham GFC, Sam has been attending Meath football games since the 1960's and hopes to see the Royals and his beloved club back in action in the not too distant future.

Kilmainham GFC and community are walking/running/cycling the length of Ireland, 486km in 48 hours this weekend with all donations going towards their local SOSAD Outreach Centre in Kells - https://www.gofundme.com/f/kilmainham-gfc-amp-community-to-travel-486km
