Brothers Darragh and Ruairi Canavan combined for 1-9 as Errigal Ciaran eased into the last eight of the Tyrone senior football championship with a 1-21 to 0-10 win over Clonoe this evening.

Darragh Canavan struck 1-3 of his 1-4 tally in the opening quarter for Errigal Ciaran whom also saw Odhran Robinson, Ben McDonnell and Tyrone star Peter Harte in superb form.

Ruairi Canavan’s 0-5 contribution over the hour cushioned the win for Errigal as they now progress to face Loughmacrory in the quarter-finals.

Holders Dungannon will play Dromore to see who will face Eglish in the last eight while 2019 champions meet Killyclogher for a semi-final spot.

The remaining quarter-final sees Carrickmore take on 2018 winners Coalisland.
