Trim hurlers clean up

December 05, 2022

Captain James Toher and Trim celebrate with the Jubilee Cup (SHC) at Pairc Tailteann

These are great times for Trim who completed a clean sweep of Meath hurling championship titles yesterday.

The Reds added the U21 crown to their U13, U15, minor and senior titles thanks to a 2-15 to 1-9 victory over Killyon in Boardsmill. Senior star Joey Cole converted six frees, while Josh Harris chipped in with 2-1. Trim also won the Division 1 Hurling League title in the Royal County.

The Boynesiders will be aiming to keep their remarkable winning run going next weekend when they face Bray Emmets in the Leinster club IHC final. The dual club reached the All-Ireland club IFC final earlier this year, only to come up short against Steelstown Brian Óg's from Derry.
