Nowlan Park hosts Confirmation celebration

Hundreds of primary school children received the Sacrament of Confirmation at Nowlan Park this week.
Never before seen in the GAA, Bishop of Ossory Denis Nulty celebrated the confirmation with youngsters from Kilkenny city parishes on the pitch following the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.
2,500 children and adults gathered in the Ardan de Gras after the ceremony was moved to the stands due to the forecast of adverse weather conditions.
