Two first-half goals from Fethard's Mikie Dwyer in a three-minute spell sealed a 4-17 to 0-10 Wexford win at Laois' expense in today's Allianz Hurling League Division 1 Group B tie at Chadwicks Wexford Park...
Until Dwyer's double-strike, the hosts had struggled to shrug off the challenge of their opponents, managed once again by Seamus 'Cheddar' Plunkett, and led only by two points.
Though, Davy Fitzgerald emptied his bench in the second-half and Wexford were rampant, as two stoppage-time goals from substitute Rory O'Connor and Conor Hearne added gloss to the victory.
