Tipperary U20 manager Liam Cahill believes Saturday’s All-Ireland final against Cork will be ‘a belter of a game’.

The Premier County renew acquaintances with the Rebels at the Gaelic Grounds tomorrow evening (Saturday), having already met in the Munster final that ended with Tipp coming out on top in an outstanding game of hurling.

A point separated the sides in the provincial decider with a late goal by senior star Jake Morris deciding the matter.

However, Cork bounced back excellently in the semi final when they comfortably defeated Kilkenny, while Tipperary hammered Wexford in their semi-final.

Speaking to the Tipperary Star, Cahill is in no doubt that there will be nothing between the sides yet again.

“This is going to be a belter of a game. It’s no more than 50/50,” stressed Cahill. “In the Munster final we were probably steeped in luck to get out of it with a last minute goal, but it is totally a fifty-fifty game coming into the final now.

“Cork know that and last year is irrelevant that was a totally different set of players and a totally different scenario.”
