Referee calls a halt to Tipperary minor football final.
The South Tipperary U17 B football final meeting of Carrick Swan and Cahir was abandoned this morning following violent scenes.
tipperarylive.ie reports that an altercation took place between players and mentors in the latter stages of the match at the Clonmel Og grounds.
Carrick Swan were ahead by 2-6 to 0-6 when referee Martin Doyle decided to call a halt to proceedings as matters got out of hand.
