The GAA’s Special Congress will be hosted at Croke Park on October 23rd.
Having been postponed from this month, the meeting is se to debate and vote on ten motions, including the proposed changes to the structure of the All-Ireland football championships.
The motions deferred from Annual Congress in February of this year and provincial briefing seminars have been arranged to take place over the coming two weeks.
Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed this afternoon that a proposal to permit sponsorship on the sleeves of players and replica jerseys was approved; updated guidelines will be circulated to units.
