Dublin's Ciaran Kilkenny, Brian Fenton and James McCarthy after the Leinster SFC win over Meath

Eight-time All-Ireland SFC medallist James McCarthy has return to the Dublin starting line-up.

The 31-year-old Ballymun Kickhams clubman is set to resume his strong midfield partnership with Brian Fenton when the All-Ireland champions cross swords ​with Donegal in the Allianz FL semi-final at Kingspan Breffni this evening.

Into the side also come goalkeeper Evan Comerford and wing-back Robert McDaid as Michael Shiel, Eric Lowndes and Peader O Cofaigh Byrne lose out.
