Fermanagh manager Ryan McMenamin has stressed that they need to make the most of having home advantage against Down in the 2020 Ulster SFC.

The Erne County were first out of the hat and thus have home comforts, but the former Tyrone All-Ireland winner stressed to the Fermanagh Herald that they have to make the most of playing in Brewster Park.

“It’s always nice to get a home draw in the first round,” said McMenamin. “The lads enjoy playing at Brewster Park too, it’s less logistics to worry about too. But at the same time I’d say Down will have no fears of coming up.”

Meanwhile, both Tomas and Ruairi Corrigan have committed to the squad for the 2020 campaign and the manager is delighted to have them available.

“Tomas and Ruairi Corrigan are back on board so it’s a big lift to have two big marquee forwards available. The more quality players you can have on board the better, so we’re more than happy to have the lads.”
