Offaly intermediate camogie champions St Sinchill’s make their first foray into Leinster when they welcome Knockananna of Wicklow to Killurin on Saturday.

St Sinchill’s go into the Leinster Junior ‘A’ Club Championship semi-final on the back of a 2-9 to 1-9 county final victory over Kinnitty last month. Karen Earls top-scored with 1-3, while Sarah Dillon grabbed the other goal. Former county star Jean Dunne (nee Brady) was restricted to just two frees, but had been scoring freely up until then and is key to the Killurin-Killeigh club’s hopes of reaching an historic Leinster final.

Having won the last three Wicklow senior championships, Knockananna will travel in a confident frame of mind. Throw-in at Killurin is 1.30pm and all support for St Sinchill’s would be greatly appreciated.
