The Kinnitty team that played in the Birr 7s competition on Saturday afternoon in St Brendans Community School

Under 14s

Commiserations to our Under 14 girls who lost their latest match of this year's Championship when they played St Sinchills in Kinnitty.  The girls will now play their last match in the round robin fixtures this week when they play Tullamore on Tuesday evening and we wish them the best of luck in that match.

Team that played St Sinchills:  Abi Browne, Aoife McGovern, Alison Ryan, Aisling Farrell, Maisie O'Neill, Meadbh Dooley, Aoibheann Dooley, Kate Browne, Aine Kinsella, Amber Mortimer, Katie Standish, Kate Harris, Leah Dooley, Aoibhe Longworth, Abbie Sheppard.

Birr Camogie 7s

Well done to our team that played in the Birr Camogie 7s Tournament in St Brendan's Community School on Saturday afternoon.  The girls played against Athy (Kildare), The Harps (Laois) and Thurles Sarsfields (Tipperary) in the group stages and qualified for the semi finals where they lost out to O'Moore's (Laois).  

Congratulations to Eleanor Clendennen who won the Cross Bar Challenge at the event. 

Well done to Deirdre Cashen and everyone in Birr Camogie Club on a very well organised event.
