Ballycumber GAA Club.

Tom Martin RIP.

We offer our sincere sympathy to the Martin family on the death of Tom Martin, Bellair and formerly from Martin’s of Doon.

Membership.

With the resumption of activities due in a few weeks it is important that all members and new members, pay their membership fees as soon as possible.

Return to training.

All Covid 19 protocols should be observed before returning to train. Covid Officers must ensure that Health Questionnaires are completed and parents and mentors should maintain social and physical distancing.  

Payment can be made to Registrar Angela Kelly or to committee members.

Mass.

Masses in the three Churches in Lemonaghan Parish will resume as follows.            Tuesday 11th May at 10 am in Boher.

Wednesday 12th May at 10am in Ballinahown.

Thursday 13th May at 10am in  Ballinahown.

Friday 14th May at 7pm in Boher.

Saturday 15th May at 6.30 in Pullough.

Sunday 16th May at 10.30 am in Boher.

Sunday 16th May at 11.30am in Ballinahown.

Fr Brendan is delighted to welcome congregations back safely to the Churches and he asks that social distancing be maintained.

Go Games. 

Ballycumber Tubber Go Games for 4 to 11 years old continues every Tuesday evening from 6.45 to 7.45 for the month of May in Tubber. During the month of June the Go Games will be held in Ballycumber and so on.

GAA National Club Draw.

The closing date for submitting tickets for the GAA National Club Draw 2021 is the 12th May. All tickets must be returned to Gerry Kelly before then. There are a few tickets left for sale. 

A confined draw for tickets bought through the Club will be held after 12th May with the following prizes on offer. One year entry in Club’s weekly lotto draw, a 50 euros voucher for Gussies, a 50 euro voucher for Moore Nursery and Garden Centre, Ferbane. If you are not in, you cannot win.

The numbers drawn were 4,5,12,16. No jackpot winner, two match three winners.                                     

Next week’s draw will be held in Gussies on Monday evening for a jackpot of 11,400 euros.

The news that Shane Lowry has become involved in a partnership with Offaly GAA is very welcome and is another positive step forward for the county.
