The Tullamore GAA Club wish to express its deepest sympathies to the family of Christy Dowling following his passing in New York last week. Christy had a long and active commitment to Tullamore GAA winning Senior County Titles in 1946 and 1948 before emigrating to the USA. In 1954  Christy and two of his brothers Mick and Joe, who also settled in the USA, sponsored the Dowling Cup for the Offaly Senior Football Championship. The club extends condolences to Christy's daughter Rosaleen, sons Andy and Chris, his brother Billy, our Club President and his sisters Nancy (living in Florida) and Esther.
