U7 and Nursery training every Friday 7pm

U9’S Had their 1st Go Games of the season on Saturday, hosted excellently by Tyholland. Two teams were entered giving all Boys and Girls lots of football and also giving a great account of themselves. Well done to each of them. Training continues Wednesday and Friday 7-8pm.

U11’s Next fixture at home to Aghabog this Saturday. Training as usual Wednesday and Friday’s 8-9pm.

U13’s Training as usual Tuesday and Thursday’s. Next fixture on Saturday away to Killanny at 12 noon. After picking up 4 injuries in quick succession v Truagh on Saturday the team suffered a tough defeat in what proved to be a bridge too far losing so many players. Great credit must be giving to the remaining players who continued with the game and never gave up.

U15 Div. 1, with 4 players injured, suffered a tough defeat at home to Scotstown last Thursday evening. However for long periods in the second half Emyvale held good possession and field position but with a little more control  the scoreline may have been tighter. Next fixture away to Donaghmoyne on Thursday (this evening) at 7:30pm. Please be there for 6:40pm.

Div.5 team played away last Friday evening and came away with a well deserved win over a very gallant Inniskeen side. Next fixture is a tough game at home to Aughnamullen on Friday evening at 7:30pm. Training continues for all U15’s as usual.

U17 training continues as normal.

Reserves played their 3rd outing on Saturday when we travelled away to Inniskeen with a depleted but determined squad. The players battled bravely but unfortunately came up short on a scoreline of 2:07-1:07. Next fixture is on Friday 2nd July v Cremartin in Tully at 8pm.

Speedy Recovery to two of our U13 players Ryan Mc Kenna and Adam Treanor who picked up nasty injuries playing last weekend. Hope to see you both back in action as soon as possible.

With recent high profile events concerning health happening lately particularly during the European soccer championships it could be a worthwhile exercise for anyone wishing to learn some basic first aid to go to www.firstaidforfree.com and get some basic first aid training which could be invaluable in everyday life.
