The Late Robert Lynch

 

On Thursday morning last there was sad news around our local community on the death of Robert Lynch Toey. Robert was a very good supporter of our club through participation with the Senior team of the 1960's where he played a pivotal role in the clubs success and in 2012 was inducted into the Clubs Hall of Fame and supporting the club in any fundraising initiatives the club undertook. On behalf of the club sincerest sympathy is extended to his wife Mary, Sons Robert and David, Daughter in law Louise, grandchildren, sisters Rosemary and Betty and their families and extended members of the Lynch and Swinburne Families may god have mercy on his soul.

 

Lotto: The Lotto was held on Sunday night last the numbers drawn were 4,12,27,& 28. There was no jackpot winner. Next weeks jackpot is €5800 and will be held next Sunday night.

Development: As part of a new development plan in aid of new floodlights for our main field the club has undertaken to run a development draw online for a chance to win a home garden which includes a mini bar with stools and table, Gas BBQ, Fire Pit and €3000 in cash and can be delivered anywhere in Ireland.

Ladies: LAST CALLThis is the last week of Lidl’s ‘Level The Playing Field’ Campaign which finishes this Sunday 11th April!!. We need just one last push from everyone as we are 18 stamp cards short of receiving another set of jerseys.No stamps can be collected, or cards submitted after this, so it is crucial full stamp cards are submitted by then.We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped out so far and please continue to support the ladies.

Birthday Wishes: Birthday wishes is extended to Hard Working Committee Member Bernie Mc Brien who celebrated her 50th Birthday last weekend and also to Frances Boyle Drumgarra who also celebrated her 50th Birthday last weekend. On behalf of the Club best wishes is extended to both ladies.

 

Return to Play: Following government announcement on Tuesday in relation to Level 5 Restrictions Underage training can commence on a non contact basis commencing from the week of the 26th of April. This is great news for our juveniles and management of our teams will be in contact in due course.
